Outstanding technology recognized across key HR functional areas — each emphasizing how AI has become a core component of the solution.
Talent Acquisition Impact Award
Focusing on advances in sourcing, assessments, background screening, onboarding, and candidate experience, particularly solutions leveraging conversational AI and those revolutionizing talent assessment using behavioral and skills benchmarks (e.g., Plum Role Model or Eightfold AI Recruiter focus areas).
Talent Management & Development Impact Award
Spotlighting advances in performance management platforms and online coaching — with a focus on solutions delivering real-time, personalized coaching at scale. (e.g., Degreed Maestro focus area)
Core HR & Workforce Impact Award
Recognizing technologies in time and labor management, compensation, payroll, and unified HCM ecosystems that drive measurable business impact.(e.g., ADP Lyric HCM focus area)
Employee Experience & Wellbeing Impact Award
Celebrating innovations in mental health, wellness programs, sentiment analysis, and financial wellbeing tools that meaningfully improve the employee experience. (e.g., Workday Wellness, Chime Workplace focus areas)
Learning and Development Impact Award
Highlighting advances in learning management systems, learning experience platforms, employee training, skill building, and continuous professional growth. (e.g., SAP SuccessFactors Learning)
Agentic AI & Business Transformation Award
For the most significant advancements in agentic AI functionality — where the solution performs complex, multi-step tasks, connects HR programs directly to business outcomes, and positions HR as a driver of organizational value. (e.g., G-P Gia, Harper by Wisq focus areas)
Judging Criteria
Innovation & Intentional AI
Evaluates the design, creativity, and differentiation of the technology. Judges look for agentic AI capabilities and intentional, high-priority applications that solve real business problems rather than surface-level features — and for clear evidence of what makes the product better or more valuable than other market solutions.
Effectiveness & Measurable Impact
Focuses on measurable results. This category is heavily weighted toward the Client Case Study, which should demonstrate the solution’s effectiveness with concrete supporting data — retention rates, cost per hire, engagement scores, or other metrics directly attributed to the system. A case study is strongly preferred.
Product Demo & Integration (pre-recorded preferred)
Based on the selection committee’s review of a 15-minute product demo, evaluating both the demo itself and overall product satisfaction. Judges look for how the technology leverages data across the entire employee lifecycle to deliver tailored support, and how well it integrates with existing platforms — a key differentiator as platform expansion becomes the norm.
Sustainability & Culture
Assesses the sustainability of the organization behind the product through a company and culture review — covering customer service, how the firm treats its people, social responsibility, community support, and external ratings on G2, TrustRadius, Capterra, Software Advice, and Glassdoor.
