Dr. Alan Bourne

Dr. Alan Bourne is the CEO and Founder of Sova Assessment. Alan is a Chartered Occupational Psychologist and doctor of Organisational Psychology with over 20 years’ international consultancy experience. Before founding Sova Assessment, Alan co-founded Talent Q in 2006 alongside Roger Holdsworth, a renowned pioneer in workplace psychometric assessment. Korn Ferry Hay Group later acquired Talent Q. Alan has also previously held consultancy positions in SHL, Aston Business School, Royal Mail Group, and Capital Consulting, as well as being part of the Executive Committee for the British Psychological Society’s Division of Occupational Psychology. He has a degree in Psychology, an MSc in Occupational and Organisational Psychology, and a Ph.D. in Organisational Psychology. He is a Chartered Psychologist, a member of the British Psychological Society, and authored several research papers in his field. In addition to holding many leadership positions, Alan has worked extensively with a range of international organizations, specializing in the design and deployment of psychometric assessment solutions. Alan now advises clients on the use of assessments and leads a team of Occupational Psychologists.
