How You Can Grow with the Community
Over the years, TalentCulture has become known for producing high-quality content and events that engage and inform business leaders, HR practitioners and others about the dynamic world of work. But now, the pace of change is faster than ever, and we’re adapting with it.
This FAQ offers an inside look at why and how #WorkTrends is evolving to better meet your interests. (We’re pretty sure you’ll like what’s ahead, but we always welcome your feedback!)
1) What exactly is changing?
After 10 years of hosting weekly podcast interviews and Twitter chats, we’re expanding the reach of our flagship brand, #WorkTrends. Here’s what’s happening:
2) Does this mean #WorkTrends Twitter chats are going away?
No. Wednesday Twitter chats are a hallmark of our community, and we want to continue hosting them as frequently as possible. But they will no longer happen every week. At the end of each year we’ll publish a calendar of upcoming chat topics, so you can easily plan ahead and participate.
3) Where can I find the #WorkTrends event calendar?
4) What about the #WorkTrends podcast? Will this still be produced weekly?
Yes with the exception of holiday weeks. Nearly every week since 2010, our CEO, Meghan M. Biro has showcased hot topics and leading voices in the world of work. In fact, along the way she has interviewed more than 700 guests! To hear recent episodes, read recaps, or subscribe through your favorite podcast channel, visit the #WorkTrends podcast page.
5) Why are you expanding the #WorkTrends social footprint?
There’s never been a better time to push our boundaries in new ways! As the global #WorkTrends Community continues to grow and evolve, our participants are active not only on Twitter, but on other social platforms, as well. Encouraging #WorkTrends hashtag use across social channels is an opportunity to continue important “world of work” conversations wherever our community is active online.
6) Why should I use the #WorkTrends hashtag outside of Twitter chats?
A decade ago, Twitter was the only social network where a hashtag could connect people in an open, online conversation. At that time, Meghan M. Biro was one of the first Twitter influencers to demonstrate just how powerful a hashtag can be in building online communities.
Now, nearly every social network accepts hashtags, so you can easily find others with common interests, share diverse points-of-view, initiate meaningful conversations and develop professional relationships.
Bottom line: This is an opportunity to extend our strong #WorkTrends Twitter presence to other online spaces – wherever professionals exchange ideas with others who care about the future of work.
7) What’s so special about the #WorkTrends hashtag?
#WorkTrends has been wildly successful as the glue that holds our community together. Since 2016, this hashtag has been a beacon for our nonstop conversation on Twitter. Now, it will play an even more expansive role, helping those who prefer to use other social networks to easily interact and share #WorkTrends information with their connections.
8) How can I participate?
It’s easy! Whenever you’re active on popular social platforms – Twitter, LinkedIn or Facebook – just search for the #WorkTrends hashtag to find and comment on the latest and most relevant posts from us and from others.
Also, whenever you want to share information or ideas, just add the #WorkTrends hashtag to your post, so we can find it and respond. Replies may not be immediate (as they would be in a live formal chat event). But over time, this “unchained” communication can lead to deeper, more thoughtful conversations and more diverse perspectives.
9) What should I expect to see when searching online for #WorkTrends?
For starters, check these live #WorkTrends search results:
Remember, these search results will change over time. That’s the beauty of a “living” hashtag.

11) What if I’m a sponsor or subject matter expert who wants to be a guest on the #WorkTrends podcast?
