Longtime CHRO Ellyn Shook announced her retirement, sharing 3 key observations about her changing role. A recent C-Suite survey proves her right. This July, Ellyn Shook, the CHRO of Accenture, announced her retirement: she’s been CEO of the global giant since 2014. During her tenure, Accenture grew from 300,000 global employees to some 750,000 now. In her 36 years as an HR leader Shook also witnessed the HR field’s profound transformation, and sees the role of the CHRO as more critical than ever.
