The TalentCulture #TChat Show is back live on Wednesday, March 5, 2014. #TChat Radio starts at 6:30 pm ET (3:30 pm PT) and the convo continues on #TChat Twitter chat from 7-8 pm ET.
Last week we talked about the “Year of the Employee,” and this week we’re talking about upending the HR profession. Upending as in disrupting. We hear that buzzword a lot these days in business, but it’s been making headway in talent management for years. And that’s a good thing.
DisruptHR is a new movement that is taking a non-traditional look at the HR profession, combining the best of TED talks and Ignite talks. The movement is catching fire in Cincinnati (where the first event occurred), San Francisco, Cleveland, Denver, Canada and the UK.
What’s clear is that HR can be creative and broadly focused versus the stereotype of being narrow and siloed, expressing divergent opinions on many facets of the human resources field.
Disrupt HR we must. HR can and should be vibrant, active and raw for the better.
Let’s do this.
Join #TChat co-creators and hosts Meghan M. Biro and Kevin W. Grossman as we learn more about disrupting HR with this week’s guest: Jennifer McClure, President of Unbridled Talent LLC, and co-founder of DisruptHR.
